Registration Fees:
• $100/year: For an STR where the host resides (e.g., a rented bedroom or entire home while away).
• $450/year: For an STR where the host does not reside (e.g., secondary suites, cottages, or laneway homes).
• $600/year: For an entire strata hotel.Early Registration Discounts:
• 50% off if registered by February 28, 2025.
• 25% off if registered by March 31, 2025.Revenue from these fees will support enforcement and compliance in communities across B.C. Starting June 1, 2025, STR platforms like Airbnb will remove listings without valid registration numbers.To complete your registration, you will need a BCeID or the BC Service Card app installed on your phone.To register your STR, visit: https://gov.bc.ca/strregistry
